necessitated the widening of the technical and financial
capability of the business and the senior management
team was strengthened with the introduction of three
new executive shareholders. |

An attractive business opportunity was identified
in Zambia with an established operator in that market,
and a Joint Venture “Remote Site Solutions
– Zambia” was incorporated. The new
venture achieved economic critical mass immediately
with the award of a number of new contracts in the
mining, agricultural and canteen feeding arena. |

Remote Site Solutions Uganda
(Ltd) was formed and RSS operated in the Lake Albert
oil fields for Nabors Drilling as well as Tullow
Oil Plc |

Remote Site Solutions Kenya EPZ (Ltd) was formed.
First project was the logistical challenge of moving
Nabors Rig 221 from Tanzania by sea to Mombasa and
the road hauling all the way into the rift valley
of Uganda |

EPZ (export processing zone) in Mombasa, Kenya |

Remote Site Solutions ongoing relationship with
certain multi-national players in the Oil and Gas
industry led to the registration of the business;
Remote Site Solutions Mozambique Limitada in the
Cabo Delgado province in Northern Mozambique, servicing
the various multi-national concessionaires presently
conducting exploration campaigns in the area. |

Soluceos Para Sitios Remotos
(Lda) was formed in Mozambique to look after business
interests in the southern provinces of Mozambique.
Numerous projects in the greater Maputo area were
taken over by SSR. Among them the Illovo Sugar Estate
in Maragra. |

The registration of Remote Site Solutions Africa
Limited in Mauritius was finalized to support the
growing Payroll and associated Human Resources services
offered by the group, especially to leverage off
the tax exemptions offered by the Mauritian authorities. |
